I.M.A are proud to have given our support and resources to launch a funding drive for nurses at Campbelltown and Camden Emergency Departments to participate in the Advanced Paediatric Life Support training program.
Campbelltown Hospital Emergency Department, when combined with its associated Camden Hospital facility, is now the busiest Emergency Department in NSW and has one of the highest admission rates to the paediatric ICU. This advanced training will ensure nurses can provide the very best care to critically ill children in the Macarthur area.
I.M.A has been part of the Macarthur community for 15+ years with our offices close to the Campbelltown private and public hospitals.
“Many of our staff live locally and rely on these hospitals when in need; when we realised we could support the Emergency Department, we jumped at the opportunity to provide access to the team who could create the necessary tools for the Nurse Development Program to get wider exposure”, said Karl Boothroyd, CEO.
This initiative is part of our I.M.A Give and Grow program which focuses on providing personal, professional and community support.
